Feeling Dirty?

Posted by RenaissanceTrophyWife on October 20, 2008

I am soooo superficial.  I admit it.  I can be just walking along, minding my own business, but a glimpse of a great shape, sleek lines and gorgeous coloring will make my head turn without fail; maybe even elicit a double-take.  After checking out the goods, I’ve been known to extend an invitation into my home– and from there into the shower, where I’m sorry to say, I’ve been caught in the act by my boyfriend… multiple times.  However, my transgressions are always forgiven when he gets a taste of the action himself.

Hee hee…  don’t worry, this is a completely work-safe post.  I know you’re also dying to know who I took home!

Without further ado, allow me to present an escape artist, a go-getter, an eternal optimist, and a pure minimalist.

Fess up– aren’t they hot? Now you can see why I couldn’t resist these Method body washes.  They transform the feel of a shower from ho-hum to très chic! Oh, and they smell great– not in that overly-perfumed pre-teen way, but in a subtly sophisticated way that’s even guy-friendly.  (See, I told you the BF approved!)

The real dirt:  Method makes a whole line of non-toxic, biodegradable cleaning products, free of parabens, phthalates, phospates and triclosan. Furthermore, the company’s commitment to sustainability is reflected in their recycled/recyclable packaging, carbon-conscious manufacturing processes, and a whole host of other enviromentally conscious behaviors.  (Read a much more thorough explanation here on the Method site.)

Where you can pick up Method for your very own:  Target, Costco, Bristo Farms, Amazon, and the company website (where there’s also an extensive list of local vendors).  I happened to get mine from a local grocery store, and they were a steal at $1.99 per 12 oz bottle (I think normal retail is $8 or so).

At this price and with non-toxic ingredients, Method transforms getting dirty into good, clean fun. ;-)

What are some of your favorite non-toxic beauty and bath products?

(Apparently, I’m not the only person who lusts after Method products: methodlust is a blog completely about Method!  Who knew there were so many scent/product combos out there?)
