A Grocery Outlet find for $5 (normal retail $16, I believe?), here’s one I haven’t seen before:
True to its name, it is a “big-ass” cab. I got nice berry aromas and quite a bit of spice on the palate– it stands up quite well to just about anything you’d want to pair it with. I think we were eating Italian; a simple penne with spicy sausage and a bright tomato sauce. This Cab was a great buy for $5, but I might balk at opening it in front of people who would be offended by the name. (That said, I don’t drink with many people who are easily offended, but the label did make me think twice after I had a good laugh.)
